I just drew up the plans myself after a lot of research. It pulls like its not even there. I pull ot with a half ton 2 wheel drive. My son has pulled it with his 4 cylinder honda civic!

Cool would love to build one of those are there any plans? but half the fun would be designing it your self it is helpfull to see how someone else approached the idea. also how does it pull?

Great job, looks like something that would be a blast to build and use afterwords... Could you share (if you haven't elsewhere) the costs and also is the frame from a big box store utility trailer or did you fabricate that as well. Congratulations on two jobs well done. 1) Building a fun camping rig that looks good and is very functional, and 2) raising a son that is interested enough in the family vacations / travel to journal... looks like you are a successful builder/father!

The canopy is not a bad idea but he was not playing video games. He was writing in his travel journal.

I think you need a canopy, over the trailer, to keep the sun off your son, while he's on the roof, playing video games.

Yep, and it's also hard to get dressed laying down in the camper!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
