Hi Lorrie , thanks for the nice comments, your skills are good , I have seen your garden project and storage cabinets and you did a very good job on both !!! Have fun and be safe , JIM !!
Hi James. Nice job on the table! I wish I had your skills. Maybe one day I can build some furniture. I'm just trying to learn how to use my tools. Table saw, router, scroll saw, etc. I hope my projects turn out as nice as yours! Of course, that will take some time! Have a good day.
Thanks George , had to think about this one a little bit ,HA! ,JIM !
James, Great job on the table. The two different kinds of wood complement the design. I can tell you put a lot of thought in yout projects. Looking forward to your next project. George
Hi JAY , Thanks for the very nice comment on my table , coming from you , mean,s a lot to me !!! Used 1 " boards for the top and sides and 1 1/4 " for the legs !! Put together with a few biscuits and a lot of pocket hole screws !!!
Hi James, nice looking table with a clever idea on the construction of the top. It is far different from the conventional looking table top and therefore is a definite one of a kind that is sure to bring a lot of conversations and favorable comments. The construction look very sound and yet not over done with heavy timbers and legs making it look way over done. Like the finish and the two different woods making it a definite show piece in a any room setting. Excellent example of craftsmanship.
Thank for sharing this one.
Thanks Leslee , for your nice comments , this one was easy with a lot of 45 degree cuts !!! I used up a lot of left over boards , 1 1/2 " wide , from other projects !! I build the frame , then I just fill in the holes , by matching or mixing the grains and then I add a different shape in the middle , this one was a seven inch circle , have a good day !!!!
Thanks Damien , I do like using different types and tones of wood , just put them together and see what comes out , this is my 4 th. table and they are all one of a kind!!!
Now that is different, Jim. I like the circle design in the middle. That sure took some time to put the design together. I like the way the walnut goes with the Spanish Oak. The oak has some pretty wood patterns in it. You really took some thought in putting the table together. Thanks for sharing, Jim.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
