James , thanks for your concern on the hook safety , it was made for an adult , he owns a towing service , the kids will be safe , also thanks for your nice comment on the chair , would never put a child in harms way , JIM !!!

I think you did a wonderful job on this chair but I have a concern for safety. If this chair is for a child and children will be playing around it, then my concern is the hook. Is it a real lead hook? If it is then a child could be swinging it around and hit them in the head or the hook end could cause serious injury. I think you should replace it with something that won't cause any injuries.

Sometimes this it the best teacher.  When something is built from a vision in your mind, the best things in all media, where it be art, music or building are born.  Just think how boring things would be if everything was a copy of someone else.

James, what a delight for a small child, their own tow truck.  This is really a nice gift idea for a birthday or actually anytime of the year.  Excellent work on the cutting and fitting of this toy.  I like the paint job as well.  first class craftsmanship.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Ken , like trying different projects , most of it was made from box crate boards , like to recycle the wheels and tool box made from 3/4 " ply cut offs !!
