Jens this worked out nice giving the reader a better understanding of the steps needed to build the cradle. The project looked like it could be fun to do and makes a rewarding family heirloom. Nice job and thanks for posting.
Always a pleasure to share
Jens,
Nice job!
There are many who've got to be inspired by your projects.
Thanks for sharing.
I never show projects to brag just to share. There are many many craftsman whom are excellent in there workmanship .Take Jay there is a person whom is the best at what he is doing.H is cabinets are so tight at joints you could think it was a door cut out from a sheet of plywood with out the joints.
Anyway thanks for reply and Im sure there are many whom enjoy looking at everyone's postings. Got to run Im restoring a 1920 some coffee table for a customer .It is all maple with a inlyaed top over veneering and legs and skirt is all carved designs
This is very nice looking How long did you take to build it. I like the locking pins on arms. I was going to do it also but just got carried away and forgot it.
Is it still being used or waiting for opportunity to use it
Jens,
thanks, it took longer to finish than it did to build, only about three days. the production shop I was working in at the time had a duplication lathe, so I only had to turn one leg and one spindle by hand...it was used for quite a few years to hold stuffed toys & quilts, now it is in pieces in the garage/storage because it takes up a lot of room...the daughter got married last month & says she plans on using it in a couple years... mandodad

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
