I downloaded instructions for a child's Adirondack chair from Ana White. In the instructions, all the wood is 1 inch (3/4) by assorted widths. She has the Kreg Jig listed to use. But what is throwing me off, is that the listed screw lengths to purchase are 1-1/4 and 2 inches. But if I'm understanding the Kreg, all the screws I use should be 1-1/4. This is my first project with the Kreg. Will it be strong enough? Thank you for your time.

Hi Kay. If I looked at the correct plan, she is using standard 2" screws in just a couple of places where pocket holes don't work. Otherwise, you are correct that 1-1/4" is the correct Kreg screw for 3/4" (1x) material. You'll have plenty of strength!

Kay,
I make it a practice to "make sample test pieces", before proceeding to the final product.
Making sample test pieces, will permit one to see for themselves, and to get comfortable with the process, so as to obtain satisfactory end results, with such methods as drill settings, driver settings, and the fasteners intended to be used.
Kay,

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
