This is my first project with the jig.  I am making a frame with 2x4s joining them at right angles. Since they are both 1 1/2 thick I set the jig guide and the drill length at 1 1/2.  Then based on the screw chart I used 2 1/2 inch screws.  The screws came out the bottom.  What did I do wrong?

Hmm, I do that quite often and haven't had the problem. I'm guessing one or the other settings is off. Most likely the pocket depth (stop collar).
Thank you John.  That is exactly what I did wrong.  From watching the video I thought for 1 1/2 you pushed the drill  bit all the way into the guide, but now I see that is about 3/8ths too deep.  Fortunately that is only one short length of 2X4  that is going into my scrap pile.  I am sure it will not be the last. :)

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
