Picture Frames

Hi all,

Was thinking of buying The Picture Frame Guide Book by Jerry Cole, any review would help, never made a picture frame so does it suit beginners?  Any other books out there worth getting for this type of project? Or if anyone has made frames with Kreg Id love to see pics

Soon I'll be making a frame for my sister. I've never made one before, but I'm not worried because the Kreg Jig has made all my other projects easier than I thought possible before. I have total confidence that I can whip up a frame without problem.

here's a few i made for my son. i made a rabbet in the back with a router. there is clear glass in each one. the charge for such small pieces of glass is nominal. you can get special UV glass from michaels but it was about triple the cost.

I made some cabinet doors this weekend with mitered corners, and plan to make some picture frames the same way. I did find out rather quickly that I needed a 22.5° block so I could get the screw hole at the correct angle.
