I recently bought a Kreg hardware drilling jig for some cabinets I’m making. I also bought a dedicated 3/16” Bosch brad point bit to go with it. It got me thinking, how nice would it be if there were a place to store the bit on the jig when it’s not in use. That’s when I came up with this idea. I used my soldering iron to melt two little recesses in the webbing on the back just big enough to cradle the drill bit. The edge locator slides right over top of the bit and secured it down and the structural webbing keeps it from sliding out the end. Here’s an idea for you Kreg. Would be a simple mold change.
