Joining 5/4 boards

Which screws are best for joining two 5/4 pine boards, 90degree in this case,
Then best screws for 5/4 board to 2 x4's
I have both HD jig and standard K5

2" screws

jig setting 1-1/4" mark

2. >>>5/4 board to 2 x4's/span>

2" screws

jig setting 1-1/4" mark

Use your K5 jig

The HD jig is intended for stock material 1-1/2" and thicker.
