Hi, my name is Rita and I just rec'd the Kreg Jr today. I am in the process of a kitchen remodel. I have removed a wall to enlarge the space and have hopes of building a cabinet to extend some built-ins already in place. I thought I would get familiar with pocket hole joinery by building a workbench for my work area to start. Hoping to find inspiration and techniques within the site. Right now I have plenty of enthusiasm but not enough hours in my day!
To all the new members that have joined the Kreg community, "Welcome" Please feel free to explore and enjoy the site which has some really great information, you will also find there are many talented and knowledgeable people here who are willing to help.
Hi everyone. My name is Mike. I live in Southeastern Illinois. I pastor a small church in our town and I work at the local grade school. I love woodworking and just recently got back into it. I bought a Kreg jig for myself, but I intended on using it at school, because I had to build 11 bookshelves this summer. I posted some pictures of them. They are basic design, but they turned out real well. I can't wait to use it at home on some personal projects.
My name is Kevin Spradlin. I live in southern Nevada, about 40 miles from Las Vegas. I have the jig and am ready to make my modest house a bit more livable. I plan on building some cabinet doors for our kitchen and building an entertainment unit for our T.V., stereo, and cds and dvds. I am waiting on the rip cut jig for my circular saw, then let the fun begin. I am sure I will be picking the brains of the collective here. My long term goal is to retire from teaching in the next 5 to 10 years and build my own house. I will be on the board from time to time. Hopefully I'll have a camera I can post pictures with soon too. I am excited to be part of this forum.
Hi, My name is Bob Parizek and I live in northern IL about 35 miles west of The Loop (Downtown Chicago). I loved woodworking when I was young (7th & 8th grade and HS.) Loved saying "Look what I did" and was very proud. I just retired from at&t after 42 yrs 30 of those in the field and 12 as a manager in the field. The wife (42 1/2 yrs) and Dr said I have to keep BUSY. Well here I am going to try and get creative again. I have the Master Jig and some Kreg tools for cabinet making and circular saw use. I may need a bit of help from time to time so looking forward to getting involved.

My name is Steve and I live in Toms River, NJ. I started "woodworking" when my wife and I designed and built the sets for her school's spring musical. This past fall I took a cabinet-making class at a local vocational school and was hooked ever since. In less than a year, it has become a wonderfully therapeutic hobby. I'm looking forward to continuing the learning process here.
Hello. My name is Brad & i live in St. Francis, KS. We r in the far nw corner of Kansas. About three hours east of Denver, CO. I just purchased the K4 jig online. Have never used anything from Kreg. Am anxious to get started with it. I am a disabled OTR truckdriver. I m, by no means, a professional carpenter, but consider myself a fair woodworker. My "shop" is small. I have it set up in a room in the basement. I build office furniture, shelving & bookcases, screen doors, most anything wood working. And enjoy scrollsaw work as well. On occcasion, I need suggestions on a project, & am looking forward to getting started with the experience here.

I am building a small trunk for a military friend to put some belongings in. I have made legs out of ash hardwood and will make the sides out of 1/2” or 3/4” Baltic birch plywood. The legs are 1.5” thick by 2” wide. So since I’m drilling pockets in…Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
