Ok thanks. I will look for it. I have the Kreg Jr. was thinking about switching to the Kreg master since I am really enjoying this playing with wood. LOL. I made a workbench a few days ago and my Father-in-law came to see it, then asked me to build him one. Too funny. He has 3 boys and asked his daughter in law to build for him. I love it.

Hello, I'm Nancy and I just joined.  I am from Lehigh, Iowa, a really small town in North Central Iowa and I am an IT/Network Engineer for a small telephone company.  I have always loved to do anything associated with wood.  My dad let me help him when he did the remodeling of our house while growing up and that's how it all started.  Until recently I haven't had the time to build for the beauty of it for a long time and I am finally going to get back into it.  My last project I just completed was an entrance "porch" for my Mother.  It is an 8'x8" room added on to the back of her house to allow her to drive right up to it and walk into the house.  I spent lots of time as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and in a program at Sprint called Christmas in October where we would find people who needed help fixing up their houses because they couldn't due to their health, age and/or financial issues.  I have torn off and laid down too many shingles to even guess at and I am ready to go back to the finer more detailed wood working.  I have always been the diy'er at our house because I am to "frugal" to pay someone else to do what I can unless it is out of my league and of course I was raised that way(Thank you Dad).  I joined because I am always looking for tried and true knowledge from people that have forgotten more about a subject than I will ever know and this is my first experience with a Kreg Jig and I want to learn the right way.

Hi Nancy, Welcomwe aboard, If there is any way I can be of help to you or any other new members to this site , please don't hesitate to ask, If I can't gve you a competent answer I know whom to refer you to

Thank you Ray.  I think all of you  and this site will help me learn the ins and outs and best practices of the Kreg jig.  I am looking forward to figuring it all out.

Hi, I'm Art.

I've been on the Carpentry side of the construction industry since 1986, mostly in the rough framing, siding and boxing areas.  I've done a little trim and finish work here and there, but have gotten the urge to focus more on the "pretty work."  I saw Chad's scrap lumber bench and thought it a great place to get familiarized with the Kreg Jig I just got.

My scrap heap had a couple 2x6's in it, so I sketched up a SketchUp model using them on the seat.  If anyone is interested, attached is a SketchUp model based on Chad's design with the substitution of a some 2x6 members.

Thanks to Chad for an efficient and aesthetically dramatic design which is simple to execute!

Hello, My name is William and I live in North Texas.I have been a DIYer for a long time. I joined the site after seeing links from the Kreg emails after buying the Kreg master kit.

Hello my is Nat and i live in Montreal Canada i just buy my kreg jig so i am all new to this but i am willing to learn never to late lolol

Hi everybodyt.

Hi, My name is Ray and i've recently just took up woodworking and i have to say using the Kreg Jig has been a lot of fun!!!

I have been an owner of the Kreg Jig and Kreg Molding owner for about a month (with dreams) but have been reluctant because I have perfectionist tenancies. If I could get a push for some Adirondack chairs and a simple back seat filler for dogs I would be elated... any help is appreciated!!!!

Hi, my name is Diana and I live in Texas. I have done woodworking off and on for the last 15 years but five years ago I took a job that did not give me much free time. I am happy to say I am back to building wood projects. Most of my previous projects had been for outdoors but now I have taken an interest in building furniture for the inside of my home. I am excited about the Kreg Jig and look forward to building many more pieces with this tool and learning more about woodworking from the Kreg Jig Community.

Welcome Diana!

I am Rick, outside of Pixburd, which the locals call home to the Stillers.

I am an engineer and longtime serious remodeler, who bought into Kreg after seeing Gary Streigler's articles in Fine Home Building Magazine.  I used Kreg to build a fireplace surround in my family room, and now am building cabinets, bookshelves, and a window seat.

Hope to get some good feedback.  I have always said that the best thing about the web is the user forums.

Miter Saw Recommendation 1 Reply

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
