Thanks KregRep for the warm welcome. My name is Rod and i live in South Australia, Australia. We went to a woodwork show in Adelaide last weekend where i saw a Kreg jig being used, and I thought that little pocket hole jig was just what I was loking for, so I bought one.I have given it a test run and I am impressed. I have only been doing woodwork for about 6 months and have so far had a lot of fun doing projects, including chalk boards for kids, model display boxes made from recycle timber' toy boxes, ect This Kreg jig is a very handy item, and I can see it being used a lot.
I live in Greenwood,SC......50 miles south of G'ville.......

I like to make furniture in my spare time for gifts. I have made so many items for my two grown sons that they say if a tornado comes, they hope they have time to get the homemade furniture out safely! I hope someone can help me find the fine screws for small boards. I know they make them because they came with my tool, but no one around my home seems to sell them. Any help will be appreciated. I'm Geoff, i'm in Prince George, BC Canada. At best, i'm a hack woodworker, but I just completed my first projects (a dresser/change table and a pair of 4ft long floating shelves) with my newly purchased Kreg Jig. It made the job so much easier than i though it would be.
Cheers
Geoff, can you post pics of the dresser? What other tools did you use?
I'm curious as I have committed to building a new chest of drawers/dresser for my son and I don't have a table saw or a router or a biscuit joiner, etc. I have a Kreg Pocker Jig, a circular saw, a jig saw, a drill, and a sander (the crappy back and forth kind), plus hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, etc.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
