Good evening,

Vincent Cutright from Massachusetts. I got a Kreg Jig R3 for X-mas. Time is precious right now with two little ones but I hope to start some simple projects in the relative near future.

Hi folks! I'm new to the whole wood building craft! Started with Pinterest seeing all the things a person can build with free pallets, then collected free pallets galore! My driveway and parts of the back yard are full of wood and pallets I've acquired over a few months time. Before adding any tools, I had seen the commercial for the Kreg Jig 5 and told my self "I have got to get one of those!". So I found one on Craigslist, brand new, for $100. Talked them down to $80 and was super happy. Then eventually, through yard sales, thrift stores and pawn shops, have acquired most of the power tools I would need to build most anything...even the 4" wide jointer I have only cost me $20! Down from the $100 they wanted at the Estate Sale...lol. Anyway, I am excited to be part of this community and look forward to sharing my projects with everyone!

Hi everyone, My name is Barry from Dallas Ga, I am new to the Kreg community also new to woodworking. Just been browsing around and reading trying to soak up all the knowledge I can so decided to join the group.

Hi, I just bought my first Kreg Jig, I got the K4 Master set and a shelf pin jig.  I'm making a cabinet with adjustable shelves for can storage, the kind where the can lays sideways, and rolls to the shelf below.  No company makes what I want, so I gotta make it myself.  I would also like to make kitchen cabinets, nothing fancy, I like rustic.  Can anyone refer me to a site/plan that has measurements for them ?

My name is Jerzy pronounced (Yezzie). I have worked with wood on and off for years. Found Kreg jigs years ago, purchased one and have put it to great use for myself and my Clients. Love the site all the info shared and projects shared, gives me incentive and ideas for new projects.

hi my name is Phillip Miller. I a from New York but currently residing in Hawaii. I am very new to woodworking. it took me ten minutes to fall in love with it. I join this community because I saw great motivation looking at all the work you guys have posted and I would love to pick you guys brain to learn the tricks of the trade.

No kidding Phillip Miller! I could use a killer deal on a jointer. :)

My name is Christopher from Illinois.  I've been working with wood for about 25 years.  I started out using a scroll saw.  Since then I've added tools to my shop.  I've built many different things from a futon to my most recent project pine kitchen cabinets.  I used my Kreg Jig to make my cabinets.

Hey all Jonathan Morton here from Cumming GA, I've kind of just got started in woodworking more seriously recently.  I took carpentry years ago and my dad had a shop with a few tools so I grew up around it a little.  My dad never really did much just had the tools for DIY stuff.  I guess that is what got me interested.  Never had the space at my old house and still dont, but my wife gave me the OK after I put in crown molding and a new kitchen backsplash to buy a couple of tools...  since then I've gotten back into it alot more, got the kreg jig, new contractor tablesaw (wish I had the space for something nicer), and I'm constructing a new router table using the kreg router plate.

Anyway I've posted 4 or 5 of my projects on the site since joining for everyone to check out they include: A dartboard surround, Full size upright arcade, bathroom vanity, kids table and bench, and the router table that I'm working on now.  The router table project was featured on the front page so thanks for taking an interest (only wish that came with a free tool from kreg or something I could use a kreg feather board twin pack to go with that router table.  hint hint...  Or reducer rings... I'm not picky ;) ).  Anyway if anyone has any questions about any of my projects I'll be more than happy to give you some additional information.

Pantry slides for heavy application

Recently purchased two 96" tall pantry cabinets that are 23" deep that only came with two adjustable shelves and two fixed, (one at about 55" and one at the very bottom).  Shelf holes in the walls are drilled 2" O.C.  Like most store-bought…Continue

Miter Saw Recommendation

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Not Pleased With Pocket Hole Construction
