Hi everyone, My name is Barry from Dallas Ga, I am new to the Kreg community also new to woodworking. Just been browsing around and reading trying to soak up all the knowledge I can so decided to join the group.

Hi, I just bought my first Kreg Jig, I got the K4 Master set and a shelf pin jig.  I'm making a cabinet with adjustable shelves for can storage, the kind where the can lays sideways, and rolls to the shelf below.  No company makes what I want, so I gotta make it myself.  I would also like to make kitchen cabinets, nothing fancy, I like rustic.  Can anyone refer me to a site/plan that has measurements for them ?

My name is Jerzy pronounced (Yezzie). I have worked with wood on and off for years. Found Kreg jigs years ago, purchased one and have put it to great use for myself and my Clients. Love the site all the info shared and projects shared, gives me incentive and ideas for new projects.

Hi folks! I'm new to the whole wood building craft! Started with Pinterest seeing all the things a person can build with free pallets, then collected free pallets galore! My driveway and parts of the back yard are full of wood and pallets I've acquired over a few months time. Before adding any tools, I had seen the commercial for the Kreg Jig 5 and told my self "I have got to get one of those!". So I found one on Craigslist, brand new, for $100. Talked them down to $80 and was super happy. Then eventually, through yard sales, thrift stores and pawn shops, have acquired most of the power tools I would need to build most anything...even the 4" wide jointer I have only cost me $20! Down from the $100 they wanted at the Estate Sale...lol. Anyway, I am excited to be part of this community and look forward to sharing my projects with everyone!

No kidding Phillip Miller! I could use a killer deal on a jointer. :)

My name is Christopher from Illinois.  I've been working with wood for about 25 years.  I started out using a scroll saw.  Since then I've added tools to my shop.  I've built many different things from a futon to my most recent project pine kitchen cabinets.  I used my Kreg Jig to make my cabinets.

Hey all Jonathan Morton here from Cumming GA, I've kind of just got started in woodworking more seriously recently.  I took carpentry years ago and my dad had a shop with a few tools so I grew up around it a little.  My dad never really did much just had the tools for DIY stuff.  I guess that is what got me interested.  Never had the space at my old house and still dont, but my wife gave me the OK after I put in crown molding and a new kitchen backsplash to buy a couple of tools...  since then I've gotten back into it alot more, got the kreg jig, new contractor tablesaw (wish I had the space for something nicer), and I'm constructing a new router table using the kreg router plate.

Anyway I've posted 4 or 5 of my projects on the site since joining for everyone to check out they include: A dartboard surround, Full size upright arcade, bathroom vanity, kids table and bench, and the router table that I'm working on now.  The router table project was featured on the front page so thanks for taking an interest (only wish that came with a free tool from kreg or something I could use a kreg feather board twin pack to go with that router table.  hint hint...  Or reducer rings... I'm not picky ;) ).  Anyway if anyone has any questions about any of my projects I'll be more than happy to give you some additional information.

Hey all. Bill from Brisbane Australia here. Only a very average DIY'er but now that I'm retired I might get in some more practice. I have assembled a reasonable collection of small hand and power tools, plus a drill press and laser-guided mitre saw, but sorely in need of a couple more larger items, particularly a table saw. Can't really afford one at the moment so I'll be going out next week to take a look at a Kreg Rip-Cut as a temporary solution. Just bought a K4 Pocket Hole System and about to tackle some furniture repairs.

Hey everyone, my name is Nic, though my friends and clients call me 'Doc'.  I live in Essex in the UK.  Though I have been in the general building industry in the past, woodworking as a true hobby is a very recent thing.  I have the time now to give it full attention; and I'm enjoying the learning process tremendously.  I've lost count of the number of books I've read, videos I've watched on YouTube and Q&A's on many sites.

When I came across this site it was a no-brainer to sign up. There seems to be a massive seam of knowledge and experience here and such a friendly atmosphere; I'm really looking forward to immersing myself in this community.

My first Kreg purchase was the K4 Master System and I'm adding further products as I go along.  My garage is now my Workshop and I love spending hours there.  Everything has fitted in well, from Table Saw to Screw organisers to lighting and Alarms.

I'm looking forward to creating my first project..........I have so many ideas it's hard to choose which to start with :-)

My personal website is in complete contrast to woodworking as my primary business is Precious Metals.... www.liberty24k.com

I'm considering starting a new site/blog charting my journey into woodsmithing.........who knows :-)

I look forward to 'Speaking' to you all over time, but for now I'll wish you all a great evening.

By for now,

Doc

Hi my name is John and I'm from a small town 60 miles east of Melbourne from down under. I've been a woodworker for years but only just bought a pocket hole jig and love it. I can now make things in hours not days. I made a coffee table for my son in about an hour without waiting for glue to dry. The longest part now is the staining and laquering.

Hello from Atlanta. Pretty darn new to woodworking but I recently built a workbench (using brackets) and had a ball doing it. And it came out pretty well. That got me started on doing some research on joinery. The Kreg products were pretty popular so I got one last week. Looking forward to working with it.
