Hello group. I'm Larry the cornhole gameboard guy....FACEBOOK page is the same name.
Website pending 'www.larrythecornholeboardguy.com
Started making coenhole game boars last May.....now have over 400 holes ( 6 inches)
what do I do with them?
Respectfully,
What, exactly, is a coenhole game boars? For that matter, what is a cornhole gameboard? I have never heard of either.
Hello Jim,
The same perplexing question was on my mind also.
So not wanting to be too ignorant of USA customs, I decided to look it up on the internet, as this was not the first time members displayed their work, and this my idle curiosity got to me.
So,
its a game where you try to throw a bean bag through the hole you see in the boards, not sure how much of a following it has but there you go.
Must be something of a cult as there are many corn hole pictures displayed.
Regards
Robert Brennan
P.S. Something to check out amoungst the many varied works displayed !!

To Robert and Jim,
When I was a kid growing up it was called a bean bag game and we used to play it a lot at birthday parties. Each of the holes had different point values, and the kid who had the most points at the end of a certain time period would win a prize.

I don't think the discussion about the game itself was the intent but the skills in making the game boards which does takes some woodworking skills.
Thank you, Roger
Good point!
Have a great day!
Jim, The cornhole gameboards I make useing a kreg jig do not have multiple holes for different points nor is it used in a "timed" game so I speak of a different WOODWORKING PROJECT than Michael is speaking of. Googling an item often enlightens ones' intelligent level in relation to a place, time or item. My suggestion to you would be to google " history o the cornhole game" I don't understand your phrase "heading back toward a positie exchange...." if you are interested in my experience useing the kreg jig in woodworking please let me know. I have had over 50 years experience.

Possibly my post was not understood. Not being from the Midwest or East, I am unaware of any adult game where bean bags are thrown at ANYTHING. Googling a particular subject neither changes my personal experiences, nor makes it an adult pastime. As Michael Moldenhauer said, in an earlier post, "When I was a kid growing up it was called a bean bag game and we used to play it a lot at birthday parties. Each of the holes had different point values, and the kid who had the most points at the end of a certain time period would win a prize."
This, too, is my experience with bean bag toss.
If it is, in deed, a "drinking game", as one suggested, it would not be the first time human behavior was influenced by alcohol.
I am amazed at the responses about an apparently modified beanbag toss (A child's game and carnival attraction) on a woodworker's support page.
How about heading back toward a positive exchange of woodworking ideas, and jig applications (The adult thing to do)
You are correct , Roger. Did he think I was trying to teach him how to play the game? NOT

Like David, my preference is that we don't flame, insult, or be sarcastic to one another. I think we're all here to learn a little and help each other out.
Thank you Jim, I was forced to remove a few of the posts. Let's please stay on topic, and stay personable, gentlemen. ;)

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
