Jens,

I've found that sprayer useful for spraying weeds, with a jet-stream setting.

Jens,

For inexpensive spraying equipment, I got better results using a pump sprayer.

Handy tool to apply sealer/stain on deck boards, landscape timber, wood mulch, and the like.

For doing lattice fencing, it's okay, but you're spraying a lot of open area---not much coverage for the amount of finish applied.

Went thru a quart of stain on only one side of a 4x8 lattice panel---not good.

After 1 panel, I went with the brushing method, on the remaining panels.

I needed to stain a section of wood lattice fencing, so as to match the finish on the deck and trim.

On a subsequent job, I went with the prefinished pvc lattice fencing panels---less expensive overall.

I had to try the pump sprayer method, so as to gain personal experience, for future reference.

Yes I did use pump up once on some lattice and it was fantastic. Could not have been any easier except dunking in a large tank and hang to dry hahah

Jens,

I hung the lattice fencing on the chain link fence, 'til the seal/stain dried.

Worked for me.

Doesn't look to good to me. Looks like you would still have to wipe it with a rag and doesn't look any faster then using a brush. I'll pass on that one.
