I've see the Jack Bench before and some of the ideas from that one have been peculating in my head for a while now. Did not know about the one at The Wood Whisperer. Well I should say I watched the video for the construction of the top but have not finished the series yet so did not know that he made it to be adjustable.

This is another bench that has some Ideas I like http://www.blumtool.com/pages/benchhorse.html what I like is the use of the pipe clamps instead of a normal vice (see video). I was researching how this one was made when I found the one on The Wood Whisperer (torsion-box construction).

Another really interesting site for workbench design is http://www.workbenchdesign.net/ thats where I ran across the Jack Bench. But they also have a bunch of other really neat ideas.

After I let all these Ideas peculate in my mind some more I'm going to start working on a design that is more suited for what I want.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
