FREE Project Plan: Tilt-Out Trash Can Storage
With the holiday season fast approaching, to-do lists are growing! Friends and family will be traveling from afar, giving you all the more reason to make your home the perfect gathering place this holiday season. An important part of holiday preparation is making sure that your kitchen is ready to handle a crowd! To help with this task, we have a free project plan just for you! It shows you how to build this tilt-out kitchen cabinet—a handy yet attractive way to hide and store the unsightly trash can.
Below, we have attached the free plan in PDF format. Simply save the PDF file and/or open it in Adobe Reader, and then print the project plan from your home computer. If you don't already have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, you can download it for free here.

I've built a couple similar to this, however I built them a little taller and added a shelf above the trash can to store the trash bags used in the can.

I built one with a draw on the bottom for bags got the idea from the Winfield Collection of projects.

I've made similar cabinets that are used for kitchen trash and recycling soda cans etc.
The box itself is same size as standard lower kitchen cabs. A 21" deep shelf pulls out a box that holds the
2 trash bins. The cabinet is screwed to the wall studs. The front (not shown), is covered with a standard painted raised panel door with pull. - Attachments:
