Shoes can quickly pile up, causing unnecessary clutter in the closet. Here’s a simple shoe organizer that keeps several pairs of shoes tidy and visible. Because it offers two shelves, this design stores twice as many shoes in the same amount of space.

Plus, this project makes organizing simple. Just cut up a quarter sheet of plywood and one 1x2 board, and then drill some pocket holes and put it together. You might even have enough scrap to build it today, and have a better-organized closet tomorrow.

THE PLAN IS ATTACHED AS A PDF BELOW. If you would like to print the plan, save it to your computer and then open it in Adobe Reader. You can download Adobe Reader for free here.

Once you're done building, be sure to share your project
to inspire others and show off your work!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
