Lately you’ve been sharing lots of great-looking projects, and we want to thank you for that! We’re always impressed with your quality craftsmanship and willingness to share your projects and photos and give advice.
With that being said, the community currently holds 3,000+ projects and 28,000+ photos. So, if you’re trying to find a particular project or subject, it can be tough to narrow down the content. We would like to remind you of just how easy it is to find inspiration for an upcoming project using the search feature. Read on for tips!
Let’s say you’re looking for mudroom inspiration. Simply type “mudroom” in the search bar, which is located in the upper-right corner of every landing page within the Community. Hit Enter and your search results will display.
Results will include photos, projects, forum posts, etc. — anything containing text that matches your search term(s). Click on a project or photo that intrigues you to view it in more detail. “Mudroom” generated 11 pages of results, but more-common keywords will generate many more. For example, “bench” generates 310 pages.
To narrow your results even further, you can use the search feature within a specific section. There is a separate search feature for project albums, photos, videos, and discussion forums. For example, if you search for "workbench" on the Photos page, your results will be strictly photos.
Many of you are probably aware of this great feature and have used it many times, but we wanted to let those of you who haven’t in on the secret! Enjoy!

You should mention that once you find a picture they like to sign in and mark it as a favorite. Also take time time to change the title from just a filename or it may not show up in the search results.
Yes, this is very true. We encourage you to mark your favorites and take the time to properly title your photos if you would like them to show up in search results.
