I know the jig can join 45 degree angle hoizontal joints, but what about boards where the angle is done vertically? I've got 4" boards I want to join this way - they form the base of a cabinet - but it doesn't look like the jig will work in this regard.

Any ideas?

To my knowledge it won't (I have never tried), if you can use a biscuit, if you have a biscuit cutter or a spline joint.

Gettings screws to hold at that angle is problematic. For a cabinet base, corner blocks work very well and are strong.

Roy, I'm not sure is this is possible with the jig and it is a problem I have never thought about.  I always turned to alternative joinery such as a spline, dowel or biscuit and use good quality and quanity of glue.  The idea is definately worth the time to explore.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
