Is there a set size of screws for each thickness of boards, such as 3/4" or 1 1/2"? I may miss the chat Tues. but would like an answer on this board if possable.

I am almost done building the small book case. I have one question. When joining boards together such as for the top of that case it is recommended to alternate the "age rings" of the board. OK I understand that. However, there seems to be a bit of "bowing" now that it is together. What suggestion have you got for reaching "far into" the length of the boards in order to keep the joint flat?

Just starting with kreg equip. I have the kreg Jr, right ang. clamp and general clamp. I have ordered the Kreg jig unit from Lowe's about 8-10 days ago. I talked to them Fri. last week and they were going to get one from a store in another city and call me. I've never even thought of using pocket holes for tables or other small things, but have really been plesently supprised how well it works and how easy it is to do. I am retired building inspector from a small city and do like to do small things with my hands now. Will try to sit in on the chat tomorrow. Thanks for a great product. wallace

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
