Thanks for taking the time to reply John, never seen the like of the blade runner before so i was curious. It sounds like your a fan of this saw ,here in the U.K not so much choice with tools like this .Go steady Mick.
Hi, Michael. Yes, this Rockwell Bladerunner X2 uses T-shank blades and comes with 5 different styles of blades that can cut through metal, PVC, plastic, tile, etc. Please look at the photos I posted, and you will see where I used my Kreg HD Pocket Holes to assemble many of the wood sections in my carport/workshop upgrade. Check out YouTube videos to see the Rockwell Bladerunner. The original Bladerunner [which I also have] had an arm support, off to the right of its table, which restricted the width of wood your wished to cut. The newer version, the Bladerunner X2 has eliminated that side arm, and you can do rip cuts straight on thru....the space made with your cutting blade is enough to slide your cutting sections thru the narrow upright support at the rear of its table. These are wonderful units for the DIY'er, because they can even cut your 2x4s [1.5 inches], and you can use other T-shank blades besides just the Rockwell ones, ie: Bosch, etc. You can use its Scroll blade to make scroll cuts, although not perhaps as 'perfect' as a dedicated Scroll Saw. The beauty of this handy little unit is that it frees up both of your hands to control the piece you wish to cut. You can also get a wall attachment if you don't have a bench access. Hope this helps with your question, Michael. Happy Kreg-ing! John

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
