Kreg%20Screw%20selection%201.xls
I see lots of questions regarding selection of screws to match different thickness of timber.
There is a Kreg table somewhere on this site, but I could not find it so attached my copy of it.
Hope it is of assistance.

Thanks, great chart.
Thanks for chart. Does this chart apply to both "Edge Joints" and "Face Joints"?
Hi Steve
I am not sure exactly what you mean, but will attempt to answer anyway.
I don't think it would make any difference as to the grain orientation.
The "from" usually would be a screw entering the timber, (the pocket) in line with the grain and the "to" the point of the screw going into the timber across the grain.
In saying that I have joined boards edge to edge and had good results as well, (see my mushroom stool post)
I hope this helps

Huge help, thanks so much for posting this spreadsheet!
I have fine-tuned the spreadsheet to make it a bit easier for me to pick out the proper setting based on "From" - "To" materials. I have uploaded my revisions in both pdf and Excel files in case others may find it helpful as well.
Looks even better than my attempt, hope all the members enjoy it.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
