Kris,
The top was made with 2 sheets of 3/4" baltic birch plywood with 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF sandwiched between them. Then I topped with a piece of 1/4" hardboard that I mounted with double face tape so I can replace when it gets beat up.
Thank you Michael Evans. That picture was taken on a very rare occassion.
That's the cleanest shop I have seen tom.
What is your top made from and how thick in order to drill dogs?
Tom this is excellent workmanship with lots of attention paid towards both the design and the details in its construction. You have added to your saw one of the most useful and important pieces to make using a table both safe but also an excellent surface for assembly or other bench work when not being used to catch the out feed behind the saw. Like the vice and its location on the bench. Thanks for sharing your work.
Thanks Lorrie. The large slot above the scrap wood storage was made to slide my cross-cut sled in.
Thanks Claude.
very nice outfeed table. I like that you have storage under it for the scrap wood. I'm sure that you could store jigs and such for the table saw there also. Very nice job!
Wow! It looks great and hefty. I'm sure it will do the job well. You have a very nice and neat shop.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
