Gee, I always thought because I was a "twin" that I slept in a twin bed, queens in queen beds, kings in king beds and people who filled up at meal time slept in full beds.
Again I must say outstanding job, Marcus!
Great job.Beautiful bed. There are many different bed sizes, with the twin bed being one of the most widely used. The twin bed measurements make it ideal for a single adult and children.
Thanks Marcus. I'll probably go with 1/2 sanded too when I build my girls' storage beds. They definitely need them. I've almost got other stuff out of the way and plan to start on those within a few weeks. My shop is so tiny I'll have to build everything then assemble it in the room, of course.
Marcus , nice design and finish , a job well done , thanks for sharing , JIM !!!
wow congrats on great first project. my first project was a nightmare, wasn't until I discovered the kreg jig that I could do anything
Thanks Steve. I planned to use 1/4" plywood, but it seemed very thin, and I was afraid my 5 year-old would put a foot through it if he was rough-housing on the bed. Instead, I used 1/2" plywood for the panels. It made for some thin edges to the grooves that I cut in the stiles and rails, but once everything went together, it seemed pretty solid.
Nice bed. Very well done. Did you use 1/4" plywood for the panels?
Thanks Michael. I am very proud of this bed, as it was my first woodworking project. And you're right about the storage!
Nice job marcus with plenty of storage.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction. I have considerable experience with conventional…
