Ed, I think my amp is wide and a little heavy. I will probably try to make a stand fairly wide and lower to the ground. Your measurements would be a nice start, thanks. Hear on Long Island we usually get a good snowstorm or two each year. We just got pounded with 10 to 30 inches a few days ago. I was lucky to be on the 10 inch side. At least the snowblower got a workout. We have at least 4 more weeks until we start to see some bulbs break ground. I don't rush the seasons. I like snow and heat, but not together!

Good to hear from you Ed. I have been looking at metal amp stands at the local music store but your project gave me another option. I also have a need to store all my books, strings, tuners, recorders etc. I have a Marshall acoustic amp and will look at making one a little wider and at a height so that the controls are close to me while sitting on a stool. I have made a simple desk and shelf system in the past though I did not post the pix due to my poor tech skills. I think I can adapt those plans to a stand with shelves. Thanks again and speedy recovery! Dan Lynch Long Island NY.
Hi Ed,
The gray wolf was an already made pattern. I've been looking at this program to do just what you want, it's called Coyote Stencil Shop. When I'm a little more skilled I want to do my grand-daughters portraits. You can find it at, www.carvingtechnologies.com
Edward, to answer your question, the K3's clamp is significantly more expensive to produce, and is the 'premium' option. The K4 is more simple and more affordable, savings which we can pass along to our customers.
Hi there Ed, good to hear from you. To answer your question i am pretty sure there is not alot of difference between the two different clamping styles. I own the K4. It looks like it is just a tad easier to set up the K3. I really think that it is just the difference between the models. I did view a video on your model and it does seem that it is quicker to adjust the thickness of your wood on the clamp. Hope i helped out a little. Hope you have a blessed day and I will talk to you later.

Your box looks good. I will probably try an inlay in the future.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
