Made this childs table today ,for my wifes business. The legs i salvaged of a old table that was in a terrible state in my brothers garage. It had a gearbox resting on it at one stage which had split the top down the middle .There was also some oil contamination. The legs and frame were sound though so i set about it.I cut up the old table top[what i could salvage].I proceeded to strenghten the existing frame useing the wood from the top as it was a match[see picture] and hey presto a new table .The top is wipe clean melamine top and underside and a new edgeing.
