I use my craftsmen table saw but this one was made in the 50s or 60s it has a 3/4 hp motor that make's it great for a plumge router but a lot faster. But everything I build is done in 2 1/2"x3/4" stock. You start out by setting the dado blade up for a 1/4" and set the hath at a 1/4" make a mark at the back this is your starting point and one in the front of the blade this is the end point here some pic's that my help.
I'm curious how you did the dado for the insert without interfering with the pocket holes?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
