Thanks James, it was a fun project. And yes, I bet the rep Kraves Koffee.
I didn't know Kreg made coffee, probably called "Kreg Koffee". I bet KregRep drinks a lot of it.
That really is a stunning piece of furniture and looks fantastic.
Thanks Ken, that's a great compliment coming from you. And yes, I did use the Kreg jig and glue to make the top. Kreg has a DVD which explains how to make this table...step by step. It was a great learning experience for me. The DVD is Kreg V05-DVD Pocket Hole Joinery DVD, Building
Tables. By the way, the accent piece I made was just a variation on this table with the glass top...which was inspired by your tables. Finally, I used red oak (just from Lowes or Home Depot) and stained that particular piece in Minwax "Golden Oak" oil based stain. Of course, I used the Minwax pre-stain and the Minwax post-stain Fast drying Polyurethane. Thanks again for your compliments and keep in touch.

Wow Marty, what a great looking table! I'm curious about a few things. Is this a project on the Kreg website? Also, did you use your Kreg jig as well as gluing the pieces to make the top. Finally, what type of finish did you use? It is really beautiful. Congrats.
Pepe & Keith & Dean... Thanks for your compliments. Any yes, I certainly followed the Kreg video on the coffee table....it was a great learning experience. Again, I appreciate your thoughts.
That is so nice and a nice piece of workmanship well done
Your table came out looking very beautiful and elegant Marty. I also have the video that explains how to build it. Great job!!
nice work I like how you use the grians. And for my self I took what my grandfather tot me about wood working and Kreg made it faster to put to gather.
Jim,
Thanks for your kind words. Actually I am a bit of a novice. The Kreg jig has really got me going though. Since purchasing it, I have found new hobby...and many more tools.
Thanks again,
Marty

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
