I remember seeing a slant front desk when I was a kid and being intrigued with it. It seemed like magic the way the support pieces glided out when the desk was opened and they glided back in when it was shut. I have been wanting to build a desk like this for years, and after a few finishing touches, this desk will come in the house and I can again marvel at the way the supports glide in and out.
