Thanks Tim for the nice comments.  Yes hickory is a great wood to work with and it is my favorite to build cabinetary with.  Excellent grain and figure with the reds yellows greens and black sometimes found in a different figured patterns make for a wood that has different character from board to board.   I like your china hutch that you have displayed on your page alot.  Really says country all over it with the clear finish and the black hardware  I see that you live in the state of Washington, nice state and country and you are really not that far from me here in Oregon.

Nice cabinet work.  Hickory is one wood i have not worked with, hopefully someday.  It really has nice grain. The detail you gave this on the back side really makes this a beautiful cabinet to enjoy.

Thank you Ray and Steve for the nice complements, doing the work is enjoyable and the true reward is having someone appreciate the work that goes into the project.  I have seen the work both of you do, and it is quality, therefore a complement from you means something to me and appreciated as such.

Thank you Ron and Al for your nice comments.  This is a rebuild job that began as a not so good of a cabinet finish job with lots of problems into a rebuild giving the owners a different look with raised panel doors and cabinet end panels including a large raised panel end on the pantry and oven surround  to a large bar front and ends with raised panels. It is time consuming work but saving the owners a large amount of money.   I still have some raised panel doors to finish, but a fun and enjoyable project.
