Thanks Todd.  I didn't use real glass in this one.  I was worried about the weight, so used a .220 poly-carbonate plexi-glass sheet instead.  It is nearly a full 1/4 inch thick and not even 1/10th the weight of the laminated glass I had originally planned for.  I may use the lighting idea when I build the coffee table to match.  This side table was my test run :)

Nice shadow box, did you use real glass? I saw someone build one once and use lighting on the inside!

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
