"Hi Andrew, I didn't really have plans when I made it. I just used the standard sizes for any other cribs and built it based on that. It was still one of my favorite projects. Good luck!"

My little workshop

"That is an impressive amount of tools in a small space. My local goverment regulations say that I am limited to a 12x12 shed, I'm currently setup in my garage but it would be nice to have my garage back. I look forward to seeing your setup!"

Crib

"Thanks, I'm a big fan of simple design. The slats are not pocket holed, it would have been too many to fill. Instead I cut a groove in the top and bottom rail and then built the mortise around each slat."

Crib 3

I didn't use pocket screws for the slats, instead I just cut a slot in the rail and then built the mortice around the slat.

"Very nice - I am looking to build  crib in a similar style.   Do you mind taking more pictures?   What did you do about the pocket wholes on the slats?  Just use plugs?"

Anyone using the Kreg Miter Gauge? 3 Replies

I'm thinking about getting the Kreg Miter Gauge instead of building a sled for my table saw. I figure the miter gauge would have more uses and since the stock will ride on the saw table there is no drop off like with some crosscut sleds. And it…Continue

Pocket holes aren't deep enough 1 Reply

I'm having trouble getting my pocket holes deep enough. I'm using the kreg j4 system and using 3/4" stock 1 1/2" wide. I have set my jig to 3/4" high for the stock and set my drill bit to 3/4" to the tip. I'm pretty new at using this and I thought I…Continue

Adaptive Cutting System 10 Replies

I really like the Adaptive Cutting System (ACS) and hope to buy it soon. My table saw really scares me as I have a bad knee that likes to buckle on me at inopportune times. I can just picture it happening at the table saw and tossing me into the saw…Continue
