"Careful of your plywood dimensions.  I only use Russian Birch ply for most of my projects as it is a true 3/4" and my screws don't penetrate..  The plywood manufacturers are getting expert at thin slicing veneers so the new…"

Tony Peters replied to Jeff Welsh's discussion 'Wood Frame Does Not Lay Flat'
"If your wood is not perfectly flat, it will do this.  The clamp only secures a small part of the whole wood piece and the rest could be twisted somewhat.  You could try wetting the wood with a sponge and clamping the finished piece down to…"

Which Kreg products do you own?
Kreg Jig®
How would you describe yourself?
Moderate Woodworker
This was a result of the storage crisis in our home. The need was to reduce clutter and provide easy access to the stored material. It was a one off design I drew up in CAD using the criteria fed to me by my better half. She has good ideas, just doesn't know the storms she brews up. I really think it is the multiple change in direction while the project is under way. Keeps me thinking and adapting. The Kreg Tool earned a place of prominance in my small cluttered shop. I finally knew just what to do with the dowel jig that never seemed to work. I really am impressed. I did learn that Kreg screws each have a place though.
Oh Oh another idea. There will be cloth bolt holders added to the upper cabinet side of the top to store either cloth or Christmas Wrap and use the table for Presents. The top drawer section goes all the way through for storing long bolts of cloth/paper.
The reason the room is so sparce is thatI needed the floor space as a Murphy Bed will be built accross the whole of one wall and will include 3 cabinets. I'll send pictures when completed. I guess I'd better get another box of Kreg screws.......Tony

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
