Thanks, Antonio! I used this diamond tufted headboard tutorial because it was the easiest to follow. http://www.addicted2decorating.com/how-to-make-a-diamond-tufted-uph... I just changed things as they applied to my ottoman. I think I used thicker foam since I'd be sitting on it. And found the tacks pretty cheap from Lowe's. The worst part was covering all of those buttons with fabric! My fingers were sore for days.
