Both lids are hinged; one stores extra bottles; the other is a toy box for the kids.

That's a great idea, Lanelle. The extra seating, storage, and a toy box for the kids. I like a woodworker thinking of everything a coming up with a cool looking seating area. You could sit down have a brew or two with company and the kids have a space to hide their toys after playtime. I also like your round seating I like the pattern on it. Thanks for sharing.

This looks great Lanelle!  Also love the décor of the coordinating pillows.  I love to be able to add storage yet keep it hidden away and you managed that in a very practical space.   I wish I had a area to place something similar.   Good job!

Thanks, I had a lot of fun building it. Btw, not that it really matters, (especially in this community) but I am a chick, man.

Measuring angle of table saw blade 1 Reply

Obviously for pocket joinery having the wood pieces cut square is critical to having a good joint.  This minimizes the likelihood of overtightening screws, as well giving a stronger more attractive joint.  Does anyone routinely measure the angle of…Continue
