Hi David,
Yes, this piece has several joints which use the Kreg jig. I used the Kreg pocket holes along with a biscuit joiner to glue up the pieces in the top, and also used the Kreg jig on much of the internal joinery - the pieces on which the drawers sit are connected with Kreg pocket screws. I use a variety of joinery - this piece has dovetails, rail and style, rabbets, mortise and tenon, etc. and use the Kreg jig where I think it is the best option. Thanks for asking.
Hi Melissa,
I don't have any real plans for this piece - I usually just make some sketches and notes that no one can follow or understand - not even me!
I would be happy to get some basic measurements for the piece if you would like. I designed it to fit in a particular location in our house, but it could be modified to a different size.
Not sure what my cost was on this piece - I am guessing about $350 in lumber for the quarter sawn oak and the poplar drawer sides, etc, $75 in hardware, and about $50 in finishing supplies. I would guess that I had about 30 to 40 hours invested in building it, cause I work pretty slowly - I could probably make another one in 25 to 30 hours.
Hope that helps - if you want some basic measurements let me know.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
