Antonio's Work Bench

My Grandson Antonio built this workbench for him. He was so excited while we built it.

Antonine,

Isn't it cool to still have something you made as a kid. The only thing some young people will have of their childhood is how high of a score they made on a video game. I still have projects I made in Jr. High School a long time ago. I want to build another project with my grandson that he will keep forever and pass on to his kids or grand kids. I have a nice piece of burreled California Blue Oak I milled and was thinking we could make a small foot stool. We could then put our names/date on it.

That reminds me of my first wood working project in 9th grade. I made a writing box out of cherry. We had no urethanes back than. It was a 3 step finishing process with a lot of elbow grease. That boy is gonna be an engineer some day.

I think if kids learned more about using tools vs video games they'd all be better off. Glade to see your grandson working on projects. Keep it going Papa.

He told Grandma he loves Papa's shop. My grandpa and Dad started me out when I was young, so I'm just passing it on to my son/grandson.

Thanks

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
