Kreg HD Dual Use Kids Outdoor Table/Snow Fort Frame

I could use some design/construction insight.

I am looking to build a dual use project.  In the summer, it is a kid's table for lemonade stands, etc.  In winter, it will be the frame for a snow fort.  I will pile snow on top and let the kids dig in to make their snow fort.  They get to have fun with less digging, and I have piece of mind over cave-ins.  Ugly prototype is here. https://kregjig.ning.com/photo/albums/prototype-snow-fort-with-kreg-hd

Of course, the design has to be bullet proof for the snow fort.  Here are the driving principles:

1.  Table must withstand vertical/top load on top of 75 lb per sq ft or 300 lb per sq ft total.

2.  With a vertical load, no Kreg screw must be placed in a sheer condition so their is no sheer mode failure.

3.  A horizontal force of 25 lb from any direction must not deform or cause system failure.

All of these are overkill, esp 2, however, I want to make sure that it is strong for my kids.

My current design can be seen in the following sketch up files.

Appreciate any insight or wisdom you can offer.
