Kreg Owners' Community

Does anyone make/keep their plans in a "formal" format so they can share with others? I am new to Kreg, but not really new to woodworking. Any suggestions or tips that you wish to share will be greatly appreciated.

One of the common ways people are producing plans thee days is with SketchUp. It's free (plus there's a paid Pro version) and is amazingly capable and versatile. SketchUp has a learning curve for doing more sophisticated things, but the basics are pretty easy. SketchUp plans can then be shared and viewed by anyone else with SketchUp. Or, the output of your plans can be exported in many formats.

If you're simply looking for a way to make plans that people can read/share across multiple platforms, then you'll want to save/export them as PDFs. You can do this from most programs, including word-processing programs such as Word, etc.

This only scratches the surface, but I hope it helps.
