Kreg Owners' Community

So far, I've not had the chance to use my Kreg jig as much as I would like to too...reads as too busy with other things. However the one project I did manage to use it on turned out excellent. Turns out that our "new" to us house did not have storage for brooms, mops, etc. My wife said she would like a broom closet built. Even better, she said it would be the perfect birthday gift for her. How can I go wrong? Long story short, after perusing several ideas, we settled on the one that is pictured with this. The only change we did was instead of a chalkboard face, I did a white beadboard. Had it finished and installed by her birthday and she was so happy.

I'm fortunate enough to have a separate building as a shop. However, organizing is the main priority right now. With the success of the broom closet, she already has 2 other projects waiting, and she wants to get involved and help. First will be a sliding barn door for a closet, and then Adirondack chairs and footstool. We are looking forward to lots of fun in the shop....
