Kreg Owners' Community

First off tried to mention all this to Kreg via Email and just because I live outside the USA seems that the system does not work as they say phone number invalid, which is not.

OK bought a Accu-Cut and set it up no problems there worked OK both cutting the guide strips and also making another cut to check measurement was OK. When I cam to sweep up I came across a small screw and wondered where it was from, then found another and another, so three in all. It was only when I went to look on the underside of the track I found that three of the screw fitting had come away. Lucky I found them. I had tightened them before hand so how they worked loose I do not know.

The Rip Cut today set that up and once the circular saw was fitted to the sled, was OK, then moved the saw blade next to the edge guide and then I found that the cursor is too small in the cursor lock to be able to line the red maker up to the start of the measurements, it falls out. should have been made longer. So the only way I can get it line up is to glue it in place.

I wonder what is the next problem going to be.

Ken,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the issues you are having.  I was curious if you could send us some pictures of the issues with the Rip-Cut.  We just want to verify that it is set up correctly as we have not heard of this issue before.  I have sent you a friend request with a message that includes the email address to send the pictures to.  Thank you and hopefully we can get this resolved in a timely manner.

Pictures next, have tried two ways, first if the Indexing Stop is in place then I have a gap between the saw blade and the Edge guide of about 4mm. If the stop is removed then it all lines up but still the cursor is right on its end of the lock.

Sorry did not know the written text went ahead. Thank you for responding first off. I have tried to send pictures of what In was on about but when I sent the reply I got a message that was unable to load the pictures. I will try again and see what happens. Meanwhile I did get a hold of Kreg Technical team via email and have sent then some pictures and text as well.

Hi again, sorry but the penny dropped into the slot now. If I move the Indexing Stop to the other side then it all fits well. Just did not dawn on me to do that. The cursor mind you is on its last two rungs with the Cursor lock.

I am sorry if I have caused a fuss due to my stupidly. They say you live and learn. I thank you all for your interests and help. Bye for now Ken.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
