I'm one of those anal people that likes everything evenly spaced, I was wondering has anyone come up with a quick repeatable way to do this??

There is a layout tool that might help but it only extends to 28"

There are free Android apps called Handyman Calculator and Woodworking Utilities that have a spacing calculator.
I've always been a "half it" person. If a piece is 48" long, I start at 2" from each end, then center one (at 24") from either end. I'll then half the distance between the 2" and 24" which puts one at 11" from both. I then split that, ending up with holes at 2, 7½, 13, 18½, 24, 29½, 35, 40½ & 46". The pocket holes end up a little closer than the 6-8 inches, but they're evenly spaced.
I feel your pain as I too have such tendencies...
When those ocd moments hit me, I've marked the piece with a ruler, or cut a scrap piece to use as a spacer.
Another approach is to mark the table with tape or something for the distance - not quite as precise, but give you a target to eyeball off of.
Most times though, I use Tim's approach - 1/2 the distance/gap, repeat. Great for those times when an odd number of holes is needed.
Just for the fun of it, I've measured the gaps just double check and found I can get within a 1/4" just eyeballing it. ;)

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
