Looking at buying the larger Kreg router table and using a Triton router vice getting a router lift. You guys that have tried this combo....how do you like it? I plan to use my router mainly to prepare boards for edge gluing.....what router bit would you recommend for jointing edges up to 1 1/2"? Thanks for any input!

Good combination get the 1/2 hp Triton ,the Kreg table is good had mine 4 years but sometimes i find the table area not big enough . A solution another member pointed out would to make your own table that fits round the Kreg table if milling large pieces .

For jointing on a router table I prefer to use a triple fluted straight bit as it shaves the edges and provides a cleaner finish.
