Drill Hole Not smooth

I just purchased the K4 Master System. I made a few drill holes, but they are not smooth. 

I made sure the wood is clamped tightly to the jig system.  Any thoughts?

I am using standard pine, 3/4 thickness.

looks like when you are drilling across the grain you have the problem, try lighter pressure on the drill to slow down the process.  also make sure your dill bit is not damaged or dull

Slowing down and changing the grain direction helped a lot.Thank you.
