I'm in the process of putting together my new Kreg router table (very excited).
I have come across two issues/questions I wanted to bounce off the crew here:
1. I seem to be missing screws to attached the Kreg router table top to the Kreg router table metal base. Did I not get them in the box or do they not include them in either box? What should I use to connect the two?
2. (See attached photo) I am using a Bosch router, so I bought the Bosch insert plate. It mounts fine, but there several "extra" holes that I'm worried might cause problems as I feed stock. Am I worried about nothing? Should I just go back to the generic place and drill only the three necessary mounting holes?
Thanks!

Hi Jake in answer to your question ,you should be fine with the Bosch plate providing the holes are not a ridiculous size for example 2" diameter. The screws you mention should be in the box if not get on to Kreg customer support they will sort your screw problem out ,hope this helps Mick in the U.K.
Thanks!
Pleasure.
Jake, the "extra" holes in the plate may be there for reasons below.
It appears to me that the one on the left in the photo is for a starting pin. Rest the work piece against the pin and roll it into the spinning bit for a smoother, more stable start.
I believe the three at the top in the photo are for a router lift or to accommodate routers for which the depth adjustment is accessible from the top of the table.
Think your correct Tim , extra holes to accommodate router lift winding handles although my older Kreg plate does not have them , had to drill my own .
Thanks, everyone! This has been helpful!
One more question: I didn't notice there was a router lift accessory Kreg makes (made?) until I watched the Kreg router tip DVD this weekend. But the Kreg site doesn't list the lift. I found it on Amazon, but curious if people have reviews of it.
Thanks!

Hi. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing. How effective is it? It's adaptable to any router table. Continue

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
