Hello, first post after introduction. For a bunch of years I've been doing whatever project I'm working on using anything from a spiral binder of notebook paper to a cocktail napkin. I make notes on whatever is handy. I have often thought about some sort of clipboard type thing so I'd have a firm writing surface that also offers some organization. One thing is I don't want to spend a lot on something like this. $5 would be great. $20 would be max. Ok, ok, if I see something I really like I'll go $21. :) Does anyone have ideas about this. It's not something that will make or break any job but sometimes a little more organization would be nice.
Thanks for any help.

Walmart has plastic Saunders SlimMate storage clipboards for under $10.
Thanks Tim. It just so happens I was in Wal Mart yesterday and saw the slimmate thing. I got it and some graph paper. Set me back almost $8. :) I'm sure they have been there forever but until I'm looking for something I don't see it. Thanks again.
