Hello,
I built a dining room table and have reached the finishing stage for the tabletop and was wondering if what I plan to do is sufficient for holding up to all of the different abuses a dining room table top endures.
I am planning to apply Minwax Wood Conditioner followed by two coats of Minwax Stain. After doing a light sanding I then plan on applying a couple coats of Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane Semi Gloss. I have already applied this method to the base. Would that be sufficient or do I need to finish the tabletop differently?
Thank you!

Ethan sounds like you have done a good job at finishing your tabletop but with it being a Kitchen table I would go at least 4 goot coats.
Ethan, I agree with David. By the time the coats soak in and cure they will be very thin and will be easily scratched. The additional coats with insure a long life without damages.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
