I'm designing a pantry cabinet with two pull out shelves, and I want to hide the drawer slides. So I want to put the slides on the bottom and top for extra strength. My question is, will undermount slides work on top, or are their something better for the upper slides I should use?

I would think that either the under mount slides or the regular slides would work. I believe they say on the package that they can be mounted vertically or horizontally.

That was my original idea using regular slides, but I wasn't sure I could use them like that.
Depending on how wide the "drawer" is, I would consider putting one on top and one on bottom. Think of a typical drawer mounting, but on it's edge.

Drawer is 12" wide, 35" High. You think one on top and one on bottom would be strong enough?

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
